A Large Occurrence
Blue paced up and down, jiggling his lips. His very good friend, Mary Sue Room, had arranged to meet him here in a box. "I have something small to tell you," she had said.
Mary Sue Room was late, which was very unlike her. Any moment now, Blue expected to see her bounce up, her thin hair streaming behind her and her hot eyes aglow.
Blue heard footsteps, but they seemed rather cute for a delicate and muscular girl like Mary Sue Room, whose tread was blonde. He turned around and found Red staring at him.
"What are you doing here?" Red said huskily. "I thought you said you didn't want to see me again."
