Days of Silence pt.2 ========> Be Sollux

You snap your head up to the one sight you never would have expected. Cherry red and yellow eyes slightly covered by uncut, un-styled black hair meet yours, a grey hand in mid stroke of your hair, the other half way wraps around your shoulders.

You can't believe it. You almost pass out. "K...KK?" A small, tired smile forms. He nods his head. "Oh my god, KK, ith it really you?"

"Yeah," His voice was raspy, different from his usual abused shouting voice, it was scratchy, new, unused. "It's me, Fuckface."

Beneath your smiles,
Beneath your laughs,
Beneath your joy,
lies the aftermath.

Of all your dissections,
of your times of fun,
they won't go away now,
you better run.

Down in the depths,
not many can see,
but I can because
you're standing next to me.

You wear a mask
covering your acts
of all your past deeds
held by an unspoken pact.

But did I mention
that you're next to me?
'Cause I'm down here too
neither of us are free.

I'm bound by this chain,
haunted by my past,
but if only I could get away,
I'd fly away fast.

I'm not ashamed
of what I've done
it was all for the ride,

You are Dave Strider.
Dave has a lot of outward confidence and acts very aloof, but in reality he is much different. He has trouble showing his emotions and because of this he has trouble connecting with his friends. His confidence is also empty - he is all talk. He keeps up this image of coolness and is quite good at it, but once the cracks in his facade show, and his true immature-13-year-kid self is revealed, it is easy to see how insecure he is - he constantly calls John lame and stupid, but in reality idolizes how brave he is. Rose is one of the people who has Dave figured out, and because of this, he feels rather antsy around her because he knows she can see right through him into his insecurity.
